Some things, such as waiting to see hear back from a prospective client, are similar to watching water boil. Building a client base takes time and is not sped up by stewing over things you cannot control knowing that you’ve already put your best foot forward.
Take a break and do something completely different. This lets your brain recharge, allows life to be put into perspective, and gets your creative juices flowing.
Then go back to work but not fretting over that same prospect. Look for your next prospect or learn something new or update your marketing.
